Hi, sometimes i want to save all opened tabs as bookmark to view it later. Thats why i would like to have an option to add all tabs as bookmark and also i want to open all bookmars of a special bookmark directory.

Ist nur IMO falsches Unterforum, gibts nämlich schon längst, zwar zum Speichern nicht als bookmark, sondern als Session. Trotzdem würd ich denken, es ist ähnlich genug, und notfalls halt als Group ;-)

Ach ja, was ich dort vergessen hab zu erwähnen: Groups und Sessions vertragen sich glaub nicht gleichzeitig, oder nur teilweise, weiß die Details jetzt nicht mehr genau...

Ich suche noch:
1. Funktionierendes Plugins um Youtube Videos etc herunter zu laden. Das Orbit Downloader Plugin läuft bei mir nicht, so dass ich es bisher notgerdrungen über flashload.net versuche.
2. Mich nervt, dass einige Links automatisch in einem neuen Fenster geöffnet werden. Ich habe noch keine Einstellung gefunden, die dies ändert.

for youtube support, you can use flasaver referenced by soren but you'll need the special flash pluin on kmext browser plugins page

also try youtube services by matt, you can download it from:

for orbit support, check orbit download by desga and alain and orbit grab by jsnj, you can get them from:

to make everything open in tabs instead of windows, open preferences:

I did try to set K-Meleon as default Browser.
Unfortunatly it seems not to work.
I use Win XP.

Sorry, das liegt halt einfach an deinem Nickname
Kannst natürlich auf englisch fragen oder deutsch, ist beides okay. Muss zugeben, ich tendier einfach ein bisschen zu Trägheit, besonders wenn's nicht um irgendne bahnbrechende Neuentdeckung geht, und dass anscheinend ein Viertel der Leute hier deutsch können, hilft der Motivation auch nicht so wahnsinnig ;-)
Zu dem default-Prob weiß ich leider nix, aber andere Mitglieder wissen dazu viel mehr. Die Einstellerei ist echt modernisierungsbedürftig, wie man an den vielen Anfragen zu dem Thema sieht, seufz.

Sometimes on XP it helps to first set IE as default and the set KM as default.

Unfortunalty that doesn´t help.
I did set IE as default and than did run the setdefault in the k-meleon directory.
But still IE is my default Browser if i klick on a html link in my emailprogramm.

Versuch: lokal mit Maus auf html, xhtml usw. Datei zeigen,
Rechts Klick & Eigenschaften, dort ändere Öffnen mit Programm... händisch.

Die Datei muss nur die Erweiterung haben, nicht echt sein.

Es ist ein seltenes Problem, aber IMHO = deine Windoofs Registry 1 bisl kaputt.

Es wurde ein Hack der Registry mit Editor oder speziellen Programmen mal erwähnt. Aber wie genau?

Orbit sollte mit K-Meleon gehen - hab ich ne Zeit genommen um von MySpace Musik zu saugen. Die Einstellung war ziemlich versteckt in Orbit, glaube bei Grab+.

p.s. weiß auch nicht warum alle Gesundheit sagen - heute entschuldigt sich der Nieser, also - wo ist dein sorry oder willst du andeuten, dass du auf einer Hadsch warst

Sry, i´m happy with k-meleon, but still some things to fix.
I again try to ask in this thread, because it did work well untill now .
I use a RSS Reader.
Therefore i miss the RSS Link in the K-Meleon Adress field.
How can i see if a Website does include a RSS Feed?

hatscho, can you please tell me if your xp updated to sp3? and was it also updated to use the eu userchoice for browsers

also, if it's possible..can you take a look at control panel>add remove programs>default programs panel(non-microsoft) and see if k-meleon is listed there

yes, i did install Service pack 3 and k-meleon is in the add remove software list. I dont know what the EU user choice is.

thanks hatschi, that was very helpful. it seems xp when updated to sp3 and/or eu browserchoice (http://browserchoice.eu) it needs special registry keys to become default.. those are new reg keys already used in vista and windows 7

The default plugin does work perfect. you did understand that right?

yes, i read several websites and ms own technet about changes introduced to xp with browserchoice but nothing is better than having a helpful user to test on
