fileplanet.com won't render correctly

I'm not sure if this is just from bad code on their end or if it's because there is flash embedded in the page. The main portion of the page shows up dozens of page lengths to the right of the usual visible window.

Looks like this is any of the gamespy network sites with embedded flash. I've navigated the sites just fine before with Mozilla so I'm guessing there's something wonky about k-meleon.

i won't comment on the irony of people scrambling for an "un-bloated" browser, then complaining because it won't render their favorite bloated sites... but from what i can tell, what you describe seems to happen on any site using activeX controls... it would be nice if people would simply not use them, but i guess that ain't gonna happen.

but, personally, i'm not eager to see k-meleon run activeX controls...

...for what it's worth.

i just made a quick visit to fileplanet.com out of curiosity... i found these comments in the source:

<!-- [redesigned and Rescripted by shaithis 04/2001] -->
<!-- [and let's face it, my HTML skillz own] -->
<!-- [werd] -->

so it *can't* be "bad code on their end". ;-)
