using 1.5.3, can't get on yahoo, hotmail and facebook if i use a proxy. I can see the login page, but the submission will failed to connect.
IE has no problem with the same proxy. is it a GRE bug?
BTW, how do I upgrade the GRE? I follow the instructions in this page: http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/wiki/GREUpdate
The manual steps don't work
This is a problem with your cookies setting.
Set your cookies to Allow All cookies in Preferences (F2)
K-Meleon in Spanish
no cigar, still getting the network timeout for the POST submission.
Network Timeout
The operation timed out when attempting to contact login.facebook.com.
You will find a GRE updater by desga2 on dirupted's extention page.
Make sure that You set UserAagentString to spoof firefox.
The pages You mention are known to have a browser switch that does not know K-Meleon.
Also have a look into error console, whether it gives You error.
I think I have found the source of the problem. k-meleon can't connect to ssl sites through proxy even though IE and firefox 3.5 have no such problems. The sites I mentioned require authenticate through SSL.
I updated the GRE, the problem still persists.
