with K-meleon, i can't give comment in comment inline form on blogspot!
Try: "Spoof" user agent setting to identify as Firefox, activate JavaScript.
To me it looks like You encountered a variant of the hotmail bug.
Try this;
Edit -> Page Search -> Uncheck "Find As You Type" option.
