WHAT TO DO
i have reinstalled the software again.
how do i get all book marks.
http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/download.php are official ones. Your complaint sounds like problems or regressions with a test version.
1.1.6 lacks some things but is more stable & has less bugs.
1.5 still some bugs and regressions but really lean ( = what we always wanted :B )
Your old bookmarks.html (the file that is a html file with a list of definitions that are = Your bookmarks ) is inside the old, previously used Profile.
Do a Windows search for all bookmarks.html & bookmarks_backup.html. Then select and open them with a browser. Find & select the one that You want and copy it into Your currently used profile. K-Meleon setup should not have damaged the bookmarks = they are still somewhere BTW. they should still exist.
You find Your currently used Profile via > Edit > Configuration > Profiles Directory.
p.s. I translated the menu item from German K-Meleon menus to en-US - since You are probably using en-US ( Arabic K-Meleons do not exist - since no Arabic users translated it

i have installed 1.5.0
now do i uninstall and than re isntall, or any other.
as per your advice, i recovered the book marks.

I agree with Your ideas about what to do next
If the problem with the "region.properties open" continues You 1.st try uninstall reinstall ( that is my standard procedure for all damaged programs also ). If that does not help I create a new profile in case the problem is cuase there. And if that does not help I download a fresh setup.exe and repeat the two procedures.
p.s. Make sure to backup the data from the old profile - just in case You want info or files from it.
