I notice that some sites (pagecreator.google.com, ebay.com) the page will not load and I get an error "Page Load Error" and "Network Timeout". However, I can load the pages with IE. When I go back to K-Meleon, same error. Has anyone seen this error before? Thanks.
Thank you for your help. In getting the exact urls together, I figured out the problem; User error of course. I am going through a proxy at work, and I had the http proxy defined, but not the SSL proxy. My bad! Thanks again!
Hmm...i have a similar problem, i have access to a site, but when i want the sourcecode of the site, k-meleon don't show it, there is just the alert "Page load error".
garbage, your link would not work for me with cookies disabled, I would get the page load error. But with cookies enabled it worked, and viewing the source presented no problem.
On a related note, I was offline recently and tried to view the source of a page, but it didn't show because K-Meleon seems to require downloading the source again when it's requested by the user (bizarre), instead of pulling it from the cache.
While viewing your page I deleted and disabled cookies (with privacy bar) before trying to view the source, in that case the source didn't load, nothing happened and no error was presented, but the request was obviously being blocked by the server due to absent/refused cookies. Based on what I've seen I would say it's a cookie problem, but I can't imagine why your second request (source view) would fail when your primary request (page view) worked.

Not normal, but I dimly remember something about httpS-pages being uncached by default, and there's a setting somewhere to change it... Ah yes, found it: F2>Cache, in the middle of page (encrypted pages). Unless of course your page is NOT https, then no clue either ;-)
Thank you siria, I think I'll use that. Thanks to you I looked at garbage's link again, which is not httpS, and in viewing the cache information (Ctrl-i) I realize it's flagged as no-cache -- thus the need to redownload just to view the source.
The one I tried to view the other day may have been the same. (Nope, nope, wait a minute. I was offline, viewing the cached page, but I couldn't load the source without getting online - I dunno what's up with that, wish I could remember what it was so I could check it out again. Oh well, end of story.)
