Tab bar problem for plain (no admin rights) user

Situation: K-Meleon 1.5b2 and user without admin rights.

User has few opened layers, so that tab labels are still fit to tab bar (five, six, depends on window width). As long as user try to open one more layer, where tab label would not fit to tab bar, then kmeleon just hangs.

User with admin rights can open any number of layers without hangs of such kind.

I am the only one with such problem? Can anyone reproduce it?

Thanks

I found two solutions for your problem;

1) Assuming that you known Administrator user and password:
a) Read this Micro$oft documentation.

b) You can use "Local users and groups" windows's administration utility;
Start -> Run -> lusrmgr.msc
Select the user in Users folder, right click in it and select Properties -> second tab "Member of", Add... button and add "Advanced users".

2) If you don't known Administrator password:
You can use SudoWin (Sudo for Windows).

3) Extra trick: Right click in K-Meleon icon on desktop, properties, and select execution in compatibility mode with Windows2000. (This works some times)

- For Vista users: Read this methods.

That sounds strange and is for sure not normal. K-Meleon does not need administrative privileges to run, normally. Do you have set up multi-user profiles?

I am not writing about obtaining admin rights.

I am writing about KM problem for ordinary users. Period.

And before reaching this "limit", border of the window blinks on opening new layer.

For plain user.
