It's not really a bug but I didn't know where to put the post...

In the beginning I indicated to this plugin as bookmarks file :

C:\Documents and Settings\Pierre\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\t7w9pkxb.default\bookmarks.html

It allows me to have a common file between FF and Kmeleon

Since yesterday, at each bookmarks modification it has asked wether I wanted to create an own file and record the mofifications. In the beginning, I refused . Finally I accepted. Then it no longer asked the question.

Everything goes on as before. Before and after I accepted, I still h've had my bookmarks at the same place (common between the two navigators).

I hope it's clear enough...

Can you please explain to to me what happened ?

Well, of course you can share your bookmarks.html between Firefox and K-Meleon. But you have to be careful when using both browsers at the same time. When you add/edit/delete bookmarks in Firefox, K-Meleon won't notice it and vice versa. This may result in data loss...

from time to time (not always), when I modify the bookmarks file,which is :

C:\Documents and Settings\Pierre\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\t7w9pkxb.default\bookmarks.html

(Cf. above)

a dialog box from "Netscape bookmarks plugin" says to me :

"Le fichier de signets n'a pas encore été créé par ce plugin. Voulez-vous le créer maintenant ? (oui/non)"

("The bookmarks file has not been created by this plugin yet. Do you want to create it now ? (Yes/no)")

However the file exists yet. I should want to understand what happens. Can you give me the explanation, please ?

The normal bookmarks file exists too. It has been created yet and was delivered with K-meleon. It does not contain my bookmarks :

C:\Documents and Settings\Pierre\Application Data\K-Meleon\default\bvbxs3tr.slt\bookmarks.html

I don't use it.

This is a normal action of Bookmarks plugin.
When plugin loads this check if a bookmarks.html file exist in your profile. Else this ask if you like create it, when you answer yes this create a new empty bookmarks.html file in your profile and not ask you more about this.

But bookmarks file used by Bookmarks plugin is that you selected in Edit -> Preferences -> Netscape Bookmark plugin -> Configure... (Options: Bookmark File)
