What's the purpose ?

To export for IE, just go to the bookmarrks and add to favorites.
To export for Opera, the same but with Hotlist
To export for Firefox,Netscape, ..., just copy the bookmarks.htm in your other browser profile folder.

A+

bookmarks.html is basically a html file similar to an internet page that contains links.

Like alain says: this html page can be added to favorites, opera hotlist or replace the bookmarks.html of another browser that can use bookmarks.html

It can be indexed (bookamrked) in another bookmarks.html.
It can be used as an internet page on Your home page.

There is a shareware program that can convert bookmarks into other type.

Thanks, I found bookmarks.html. In other browsers I had to create it previously with a export button/option.

You can use Bookmark Base for any bookmark exporting\importing actions. It supports K-meleon completely.

I am running K-Meleon 1.1.4 and want to export the hotlist to Firefox but I cannot find bookmarks.html or bookmarks.htm in the k-meleon installation directory. So where is it?
