#Situation
I have a HOSTS file. Whenever K-Meleon encounters something from a blocked domain, it throws an error message (messagebox with an OK button) stating: "The connection was refused when attempting to contact <website>" where the <website> is the domain where the ad is stored.
I do not want to get rid of my HOSTS file.
#Request
a) Recognize which sites are being legitimately blocked by HOSTS.
b) Have an option to turn off "error messages" messageboxes. (This is probably easier for your programmers to implement.)

This is a known bug in the underlying Mozilla code. We are looking at some fixes that might address that problem.
