This is something that happens to me a lot. Sometimes when I follow a link and open it in a new window, the contents of the "old" window isn't cleared. When the window is updated in any way, like when scrolling, new text is just added on top the old. I have tried maximising the window to force a repaint, but the extra area fills with just random junk.
It affects all open windows. I remember managing to clear the junk somehow, but it doesn't seem to work today - I had to quit and restart.
I use version 0.6 under Win 98. I'm not using my own computer and I'm not that experienced in the darker corners of Windows, so I can't be more specific, sorry.
