I'm running windows 2000 pro with SP2 installed, k-meleon 0.6. I keep getting these pop ups " the connection to the server timed out" when going to any site that uses across domain cookies i.e, flycast, doubleclick, etc. It seems to happen with pop ups disabled or enabled. The main page loads fine, the error pop up is just specific to the ads or whatever.
Sorry, forgot to add. Is there anyway to disable these pop ups from the prefs or other .js?
yes go to preferences and then go to privacy and you will find it under popup control and you will find there how to disable popup ads
