Save As problems

Hello, I just started using K-Meleon (0.6 w/loader preset Faster is the only version I've used). I did a search in the forums and haven't seen any problems like the following, so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if there's a problem.

Okay: I tried doing a Save-As (via both contextual menu and File menu) of a URL ending in .php ( such as http://k-meleon.sf.net/download.php ) using type as php; Web Page, HTML Only; Web Page, Complete; and Text Document. After hitting enter to use download.php as the save file name, no dialog box appears, and it just continues as if nothing had happened. No file is created at the specified location. This problem seems to occur with .shtml files/URLs. However, saving a page such as the main page ( http://k-meleon.sf.net/ ) apparently works. HTML files also work.

Save Link As has not worked either, not even for .html files and such saved as type HTML file. I tried Save-Link-As'ing a link to an .exe file, which like the others did not occur. Clicking the .exe link directly downloads the file.

Okay, that's it. Weird.

Greetings!

Yes, I've also experienced this... try to save any pdf-file at the following URL and nothing happens:

http://www.transmeta.com/about/press/white_papers.html
(After a few tries, I managed to get a 0 byte size file, which is locked, so I can't delete it, grr... and viewing the pdf-flile using Acrobat in K-Meleon krashed K-Meleon...)

I got the same problem, but the files are getting saved. K-Meleon just doesn't show a Saving-Progress dialog...
Using Win2000 SP2....

Version 0.6 build 547 Save As only works once per window. To save another page another window must be opened or K-Meleon restarted. The page content or type does not seem to matter. Most curious?
