Kmeleon on my computer takes forever to start. A total of 45 seconds.

Mozilla takes 20 seconds.

This problem is compounded by the fact that K-Meleon doesn't have a splash screen.

So during start-up, I am not even sure K-meleon is working at all.

I am using a Toshiba 2180CDT laptop

Specs:

* AMD K6-2 475mhz
* 64 meg ram
* 4.3 HD
* 24x CD Rom
* 12.1 Active Display
* 56k modem
* Win 98

Try disabling all plugins in Preferences.

The IE and NS bookmark ones add 15 secs here. Disable them.

That's weird. Mozilla launch way slower on my computer then K-meleon. K-meleon launch also about under a minute (did not time it).

I'm only running a P166, 48mb RAM
