While attempting to watch one of my videos, using K-Meleon I get "an error occured, please try again later" but with Maxthon and the latest IE I can see the video.

I have experienced this more than once, on both an XP machine and on a Wink2K machine while trying to watch Youtube using K-Meleon.

The problem appears to be intermittent.

this is a common problem known with some websites displaying errors when thrid party(ads) cookies are blocked. yahoo mail is another website known to have that bug and naturally it's not exclusive to kmeleon but any other browser with cookies limitations. in other words, those sites are trying to make you believe your browser or system has a problem just because you're hurting their ad revenue

to fix that problem; open preferences>privacy and security and change the cookie setting to always accept instead of 'originating website only'

I am getting there, slowly, to K-Meleon Heaven!

One thing that I would like to say, but I am afraid to, but please allow me,
is that on these forums, there seems to be a "that is the website's fault"
kind of meme. And I have no doubt whatsoever various problems are the
website's fault. They are not obeying the rules. They, the sites, are
messing things up. However, for a lot of us noob users, that just want
a browser that does the usual IE/Firefoxy thing, this fact is little
consolation.

Perhaps there might be a K-Meleon for noobs release, set up to be forgiving,
rather than to be correct. (Perhaps my release was like that and I changed
the cookies setting. Very possibly. If so then perhaps a noob warning might
make K-Meleon more popular).

Getting to like KM more and more. Still blown away by the speed.

On Youtube it works when you refresh the site. Second try is accepted, I don't know why. On Yahoomail it only helps to acess the old interface, not the "improved" one.

Well... I just changed to accept any cookies, let's see how it works, but with the forementioned measures I could live just fine having cookies "from the originating website only".

Ok, helped on Youtube to load the videos at first try. but doesn't solved the Yahoomail problem. Yahoomail still wants to upgrade my browser to acces the new interface. No problem with Yahoomail classic.

Changing the User Agent also doesn't tricks Yahoo. (Funny, after changing the User Agent string to IE 6.0 I can't acces this forum being intercepted by Bad Behavior, security software.)
