K-Meleon doesn't handle linux format for kmlfiles

As said in the title, translations aren't found and displayed when kml files are edited with linux editors, due to LF instead of CR+LF.

kmmfiles work, kmlfiles don't.

Here is the bug

@ JujuLand

I guess it is part of KM's core program which uses the kml file when it sees the _() statement in a macro? This will be a fix Dorian must do?

So if I gave you a file with the left side of the equation only
<text string 1>=
<text string 2>=
and you filled in the right side on your linux machine, the current KM would not be able to use it? That is something we need fixed. Good work that you discovered the problem.

This is simple, K-Meleon ended line in kmm files with a semicolon (winking smiley, intead in kml this isn't used and the end of line is CRLF and this is understanded by Linux.

Are you tried to convert kml files from CRLF (Win) to LF (Linux) with some text editor like Notepad++ or PSPad?

@desga2,

I agree with you for the reason that makes kmmfiles to work. It's because the parser doesn't use CR-LF but ; to know where is the end of the line.

But for the bug, K-Meleon just knows CR-LF for kml files, and use it to know the end of the line.

To make it work, I have used PsPAd to convert LF to CR-LF line end.

Just the opposite of what you said:drool:
