KM1.5.4 setup on Win7 x64 QuickLaunch shortcut

Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Just to let you know guys, there is following problem with Quick Launch (when it is selected during setup):
installer created "Documents and Settings" folder. If anything, it should go to "Users" folder, even though there is no QL in Win7 by default (IIRC)

I have had a look for this problem, and I don't found any error in setup file. I use the nsis $QUICKLAUNCH variable which must be set correctly.

But I'm thinking of the fact that 1.54, has been released before Win7, and the nsis version used when making the build doesnt yet handle win7.

I'll make a test to see what is returning $QUICKLAUNCH.
I'll see also if there is a new nsis version who handle win7.

Km 1.54 has in fact been released before win7, and nsis handles Win7 since version 2.45 online since june 2009, and I use it, but I'm not sure that Dorian had update version before making the build.

Thanks for quick reply and apologies for my late reply smiling smiley
Yes, I was sure its installer's settings.
Of course not that it is any real problem or that it cause any OS problem, one can simply delete the "Documents and Settings" folder and be done with it in 1 second.

I didn't look into "7" until now, and I wasn't surprised M$oft has been playing with defaults in Win 7 again (they messed it up even more than Vista), common var %allusersprofile% points now to [root]":\ProgramData" and one would think "oh, thats so nice and short, no more "Documents and Settings\All Users\" but of course its not like this and its even longer now, because i.e. common startup folder is even deeper within this new default dir: ".\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup" and so on... sorry, couldn't resist venting off some of the steam after working on several "Seven" machines in past weeks, I know you guys know it all already.
I figured why M$oft called it "Windows 7": because it take now seven clicks to get to locations where it used to take 1 or 2 clicks before, ehh winking smiley
