I'm sorry very much. I had a lot of work this week and i can't connect to my mail. sad smiley

Only one correction is needed to Enaitz translation (5th line):
Quote
Enaitz
"Esta macro añade entradas al menú para salvar los archivos de tu perfil de usuario"
Is more correct translate for this:
"Esta macro añade entradas al menú para guardar los archivos de tu perfil de usuario"

save=guardar, is more correct translation than 'salvar'. This translation error is very usually in Enaitz translations tongue sticking out smiley

Thanks for translations Enaitz, and sorry for can't reply your mail, Alain.

No problem, I was just waiting for it, but now, a last bug in a kplugin makes me wait too ...

Thanks for helping

I hope Dorian can send the last corrected kplugin to put all the extensions and the system on line before the end of the week-end.

Yeah man, this is what happens when you try to think in english :-)
You're right, "guardar" is better but I don't think that "salvar" is incorrect.

Anyway, I'm still far better than you building sentences:

Just a last string:

Live HTTP headers=

in spanish and german.

Cabeceras HTTP vivos=

But the word Live is mostly a publicity tricky word, it doesn't really mean that the headers are alive, so it may be better to translate it as:

Ver cabeceras HTTP=

which means "view HTTP headers".

You can choose whatever you like. If "Live HTTP Headers" is the name of a program or a registered product (as for example "Sound Blaster Live"), you can even keep it in english.

One important note;

If you like that 'Live' word meaning is 'active'
I think that the best translation for "Live HTTP headers=" is:
Cabeceras HTTP activas=

Enaitz, 'cabeceros' is a table in head bed side tongue sticking out smiley (bed-head), you must translate it by 'cabeceras', in female, meaning is different and more correct.

P.D.; Yes, my building sentences in english is very bad, sorry :S
"sorry for can't reply your mail"
Can you help me to correct it?
Thanks.

You're right again, it's "cabeceras", not "cabeceros".

The sentence "sorry for can't reply your mail" could be translated to english as "sorry for not replying your mail".

It's curious how we on our own can't manage to perform a full translation. Every time one of us translates something, the other cames to fix it.

Enaitz; I agree - possibly because we read much English and You can always improve a good translation / the first translator gets the meaning accros but is still influenced from the other language (and is own dialect) later it is translated better.

Perhaps: it is easier as group effort?

alain; sentence 5: is it for the bookmarks backup extension or something that saves selected files from a used profile at regular intervals or at a click?

save = save files in another location ( not like "keep" or guard )
I wonder now because there was this question in Spanish: salvar? guardar?

My German translation is like Menue entries to save the files somewhere, because I assumed that it is for the personal files saving extension that was adapted to km.

It seems like German can use the "lehnwort" and also partial translations.

Live HTTP headers=Live HTTP Headers

Live HTTP headers=Echtzeit HTTP Überschriften

That is why I did not think of a kml.

@guenter:
Spain is diferent smiling smiley

The word used for translated 'save' in computer context is 'guardar'.
'guardar' = Store a file. (not guard, protect, meaning)
'salvar' = to rescue, to free from danger, is the meaning most usually in spanish.
Not is common, and not very corrected, used 'salvar' word in computer context.

In spanish words have a meaning dependented of used context.

End of first spanish lesson. Greetings. smiling smiley

Latin American Spanish, also:

guarder = keep; salvar = prevent from harm ( english salvage)

Salvar can only be used in the computer context if it is preventing some kind of imminent disaster.

vivas = living; en vivo = live, as in TV broadcast or concert.

I'm not a native speaker but "cabeceras vivas" doesn't sound right. maybe "cabeceras actuales" ?

I'll be on holidays for a week (from this monday to april 17th).

If someone wants a mediocre unorthodox and unartistic es/en translation this week will have to ask Desga2, but please, you know Desga2 limits, just try to use plain language and short sentences tongue sticking out smiley

See you!

@ desga_2 If You or anyone wants a es-ES translation; As You said I still need es lessons before I can translate.

Enaitz does not need any es lessons he creates the de-ES version tongue sticking out smiley (that will use the same words as the de-AT version and that is finished ).

To others: 1.1 will even use partial chrome translations! I will include any locale that is made before the 15.04.2007 or when alain who will probably make an installer has time later. German de-AT and French fr-FR translations are finished. If our Englischen friends want a change in their menus they must also do a translation ( best before Sunday because i will not change anything after alain packed it into the installer ) tongue sticking out smiley

Code section only the bold writting must be translated.
You copy the code section into a new post. Ther You have to over-write the bold writting in Your own language using utf-8; also write/tell for what locale: first language e. g. en and next country e. g. AU so that is looks lieke: en-AU (that would be Australian English).

Up to You. You can also send by mail.

I only know some Spanish strings (and parts of others )
- do not worry i later edit and delete the mess smiling smiley
It would be nice if You posted a corrected form like the one which I post now.

After You have poste the es-ES "bookmarkbackupSettings.dtd" I can easily copy and paste it to the Spanish locale/es-ES "Archivo" part that is inside my jar.

Else I can send You the jar and the files. Then You can see it working and decide whether you want to spend time doing a translation of this extension.

Here in Forum K-Meleon should take care that all You paste here is utf-8 so I can just copy and paste it inside the archive without any of the problem we had when doing chrome files with notepad tongue sticking out smiley
