I've added the new scroogle search engine, but would like to perform searches from the URL bar using a keyword autosearch. How do I include the new search engine and it's keyword as a custom option? Much thanks for helping a newbie.

Simply go to (Tools > Search > Keyword Autosearch...) and click Custom. Place the following string into the box that prompts you for a search string:
]http://www.scroogle.org/cgi-bin/nbbw.cgi?Gw=

You can do the same with any search engine... simply take the URL which is specified as the $eng variable. For example, in the scroogle search macro, you would use the following underlined part of the search macro:
Scroogle{
&OldSearch; $search = "Scroogle";
$eng = "";]http://www.scroogle.org/cgi-bin/nbbw.cgi?Gw=";
&SetSearch;
}

Under Edit-->Advanced Preferences-->
then under the Category-->Browsing-->Finding Websites
on the -Search Engines- tab I clicked the -Add...- button and entered

Caption : Scroogle
URL : h**p://www.scroogle.org/cgi-bin/nbbw.cgi?Gw=



Then I went back two tabs to -Web Search- and chose Scroogle

is there a possibility to use a different language support from scroogle through the url?

Use this search string:
]http://www.scroogle.org/cgi-bin/nbbw.cgi?Gw=K-Meleon&l=es

GW -> SEARCHED item
l=es -> language spanish

But this string not work with normal search engines because in K-Meleon search all Searched words are added at the end of search string, but in this string change order to word searched not work:

]http://www.scroogle.org/cgi-bin/nbbw.cgi?l=es&Gw=K-Meleon

You have created a new independent search item in menu to can search with language support and in macro code add searched word like first parameter.

You can add a search that uses desga2 idea.

Du kannst nach desga2 Erklärung ein neue Suche anlegen.

F2 Finden von ... Tab, Websuche, Knopf: Eintrag hinzufügen.
