I'm having trouble using the wackget download manager I found here. Can't seem to paste the download link info into wget properly. Any advice much appreciated.

Regarding, WackGet - download manager . . . ( http://millweed.com/projects/wackget/ ) you can DRAG the 'link' to the WackGet programme. That way, it will start to download from the URL.

Yes, thanks. That SHOULD have helped. I suspect there is something I'm doing wrong here. I think for now, I'll uninstall the whole thing and look at something else in the shortrun and then revisit WackGet down the road. Perhaps Star Downloader.

Might I also suggest, another, download manager . . . that I have found useful. The name is WinGet and you can 'download' it from:
http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/1054305042/1
With WinGet (freeware), you may pause, and, resume downloads, it can 'split' downloads into smaller parts, and, if you follow the instructions, by placing the file NPWINGET.dll in the K-Meleon Plugins folder . . . K-Meleon will 'automatically' use WinGET when you CLICK on any file(s) to download.
