When I run Ulf's build under win98 and fill out an HTML form(google), K-meleon will open my default browser with the result. This problem does not exist under win2k(same machine).

Does anyone else experience this problem?

oh, this page (http://lwn.net/Articles/) looks horrible under win98, the fonts look like x11 fonts with no anti-aliasing, but the fonts look normal under win2k

win 98 requires update of mfc42.dll i presume.
the fault does not always show emidiately.

i did not totally understand the problem first.
(k-m is my default browser - made me kind of blind)

question - did You try with another k-m version and have the same result?
actually: that might be 98-system calling system-default application.

I have K-meleon as my default brower. If I do a search in Google, another window of K-meleon will open up with the results. If I set Firebird as my default browser, Firebird will open with the result instead.

The official 8.2 doesn't have this problem.
