Sorry that should have been,,,,

It seems as if the box's are also not -fully- attending to the original animations size.

I think thats important.

Don't know why , some pages are "coupleing"? links.

I click on the [>] it loads a link instead of the flash file.

Damn.

JP:

I didn't mean to ignore you, sorry about that.

As to the Bugs / Requests For Enhancement in the "Flash Click to View" extension; I'm not the author, I just posted how to install it in KM. All of them should be submitted to Ted Mielczarek (http://ted.mielczarek.org/), the author of the extension.

As to the screen cap., the one on the MozillaZine forums (from Grayrest) that shows how the extension looks in FB, applies to KM as well. (See KAMiKAZOW's link above).

As to renaming the Flash dlls, the same problem applies as above; you'd need File Input / Output support in the macroing system to re-name files in the filesystem. If you put in an RFE in the KM bug system Ulf might be persuaded to implement the C++ File I / O in the macro plugin, but from what I understand the request has been declined before (on the forums at least -- I don't know if it has ever officially been requested as an RFE, or if Ulf has ever given an official word on the matter).

As to a new embed.jar chrome, I don't have very much time right now so I probably won't be messing with it too much. I might try 'porting' a few other extensions though (like TTLO, for example). I'll post threads if / when I come up with anything worthy of note.

If I missed anything just blame it on my ADD, but I think that covers all your concerns?

I just thought that since everyone in this thread (And Site for that matter) .
Could come up with something better than whats on the other Moz sites.

I'm not a coder.
So , Guess I was wrong.

MS:

Is there a security certificate pain in Chrome similiar to the cookie editor ?
(( chrome://cookie/content/KM-cookies.xul ))

I'd like to be able to have a cookie jar for KM something that would allow me to put cookies aside but not have them active.
Possible ?

Thanks man,
J|P

GB: "Does the view box only work for 8.1?"
I'm 80% sure it doesn't need to be 0.82.
Recheck your setting's though I think you may have left something out...

"How did you do this?"
He did it with allot of patience.

"It would be great to run aggreyest from K-Meleon"
It might... Well see.

Hope I've helped.

when i asked how he did it, i was asking andrew how he got phil roche's aggre8 rss reader extension for mozilla to work in k-meleon and was expecting andrew to answer my question as i'm sure you do not know how he did it.
as for the "flash click to view" for km, it does not work for km0.8.2 and i don't care its not all that useful, neither is the "play in winamp" macro which also does not work.

gaasbyte,

There's details on how to run it manually on the aggreg8 site. If you follow those steps, you can run it in K-Meleon calling it using the chome:// from the URL bar. I'm off for the weekend but will write up something for the Wiki when I get a chance.

thank you so much for your response, andrew. i was already trying follow the references to xul and xpcom specifications from the aggreg8.net site. i will be looking foward to your wiki write-up. i believe an rss reader like aggreg8 will be a very welcome addition in the development of k-meleon.
