K-Meleon 0.8.2 Released
The latest version of K-Meleon, the light Gecko-based browser for Windows is now available. This release is built on Mozilla 1.5. It includes bug fixes to the 0.8.1 release and all K-Meleon users are encouraged to upgrade to this release. If you already have 0.8.1 installed, you can use the upgrade version to update your existing installation. All other users should install the full release.
Additional features and improvements include:
* Better handling of invalid text/plain content: Mozilla Bug 220807 http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=220807
* Better OJI and LiveConnect support
* Enhanced Macros
* Enhancements to Mouse Gesture plugin

The files are already uploaded to sourceforge's servers. But it might

What are the enhancements to the mouse gesture plugin? I am only seeing basic forward/back mouse gesture. The plug in list says "not configurable." Is there some other place I need to make adjustments?
Also, even though I have cookies enabled I am not able to get in to my bank site. It says I must have cookies enabled. I have tried ID change with no success. Other than that, I am quite pleased with the new version.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
I have never played with the mouse gestures.
But, as for the bank, enabled cookies are not the entire story. That is the stock answer. I have been able to get into any bank site with which I have done business. There is one catch, that a few banks may require a popup to show. But, this also has not been an impediment. Now, all these banks were accessible with NS7.x or Mozilla1.x. I tried one or two from irefox0.8, and did not have a problem.
Are you getting as far as the username and password, or even before that.
I have set up Bank of Ameriica, Citi Banks, Chase and First US.
