It seems as though we are approaching 0.8 version, I have tried the latest beta but it does not have auto complete :-( anyone know if it will make it in this version
I'm sure it won't be in 0.8. Maybe this feature is quite hard to implement.

Yeah, it's been requested repeatedly. Well, programming is not easy....
I, for one, like it without the autocomplete, when using other browsers, they are getting in the way all the time...
I'm with you dpb, it annoys me. When it's implemented hopefully it'll be easily disabled. Having said that, it is one of the more requested items in the forums and it is given a high priority status in BTS. So it will be added as soon as one of the developers figures out how to implement it.

As far as I'm concerned, autocompletion is the only feature that is missing in K-meleon, otherwise it's totally perfect (except it could also have great other features like bandwith limitation, spyware, bug report to the developpers, cached url written in a user.dat file stored on the hard drive, report to the NSA, annoying reminders etc...

For me autocomplete is a major pain but so many ppl want it that I'm shocked it hasn't been included.
If someone does decide to implement it please make it easy to disable!!!

Let's talk about creating it first, shall we?
Adding a pref would be a piece of cake compared to that. :-P
wow, i'm just using mozilla 1.3 with AutoComplete and my surfin is so much faster.
all the websites where i wanna go to is specified in under 2 seconds.
thats so f... great. can't wait til that feature is implemented in KM.
This is a complete regression to not have AutoComplete. How did the Firebird folks decide to not include this is beyond me.
