K-Meleon vs. Phoenix Scrolling

K-meleon's autoscrolling is much smoother on my display than Phoenix's autoscroll (which uses the Autoscroll xpi plugin).

Have other K-meleon/Phoenix users noticed this? If so, might the developers know why K-meleon's scrolling is smoother? It might be nice to share this secret with the other moz-scrolling developers, Autoscroll, Smoothscroll, and Multiscroll.

Yeah I've noticed that, but KM's autoscroll does have it's bugs, namely trying to use it within frames. But from what I've heard, Mozilla, Phoenix's or Firebird's (too many damn names) :-) autoscroll uses XUL. I think KM's autoscroll is native to Windows, so it wouldn't be an easy copy for cross platform development I assume. Just a guess though.

Autoscrolling within frames is a known issue and yes K-Meleon's is win32 native while Mozilla uses xul.
