*NIX Makefile?

Has anyone created a Makefile and compiled this under something non-MS? If not, is there a good reason why I shouldn't work on it?

Aren't you happy with Galeon on Unix ?

More seriously, I believe K-Meleon is built with MSWindows UI widgets, so you'd have a hard time making it work on non-Windows platforms...

Please tell me there's plans in the future to make K-meleon XP! Otherwise I've lived and died for K in a day cause as I posted on ThatDude's stupid 'news flash' I'm through with MS Crap!

So... osX, BSD, RedHat, Mandrake?

Please say it's so...

Thanx - I will!

Right now just doing all the preliminary research before I take our team into the black hole of coderville! :-)

Phoenix seems to be closer to the development platform I'm looking for... but I really like the plugin architecture used in K-meleon!

So... it looks like I've found a development platform and a personal favorite for browsing! I'd been looking for a no bloated Moz client and I like both K and P but for the time being at least I'm a K fan. I would like to see the two development stategies married though I think Pheonix could really use K's modulare approach...

I also really like the out of the box capabilities that XUL provides in Phoenix!
