Standalone/offline install

I want to create an installation of K-meleon that can run from a cdrom that will include html files for tutorials, presentations, etc. in kiosk mode without internet access.

Has anyone done anything like this? I have tried installing on a local hard drive and then editing the prefs file found in /profiles/defaults.... where the prefs.js file is found . I changed all references to the location of cfg files to a generic path but no good. When launching the browser, I get messages saying the program can not find the cfg files. Any ideas?
