I was wondering if it wouldn't be useful to add a sticky explaining to everyone how to migrate up to 1.6 from a previous version : importing profiles, plugins, macros, skins and so on. What to do and not do.

This may seem simple to some but I'm sure not to all ... wadyathink ?

Absolutely. The prob is only that there is not just 1 best way to do it, but everyone of us has his own best, recommanded way, as posted already a number of times in this forum

It's obvious that less experienced users are rather lost guessing how to do it without losing or messing anything accidentally :-/

If some macro to old and not supported by 1.6, just write a few
words about that on the forum. And maybe some guys update it.

- importing profiles

Developers say, that it is ok, use profiles from 1.5.4 with 1.6.
Just delete *.mfl,*.rdf files in the profile.
And in case adblock+ - patterns.ini too(because adblock updated).
