Fullscreen Plugin Problem

Hi there!
I have a Application which runs in k-meleon and starts up whith the full screen plugin.
This is really good because the user doesn't need any navigation or toolbars. Although if we link to a PDF-file it is also displayed in fullscreen and you have no other chance to close the screen than pressing ALT-F4.
Is it possible to start a weblink to a PDF-file not in fullscreen maybe with a JavaScript function?

AFAIK fullscreen is fullscreen for all windows.

JavaScript cannot alter any browser settings (fortunately! smiling smiley

Hi all,

wish I could switch to fullscreen mode via command line, i. e. k-meleon.exe -fullscreen
This would be a very nice feature!

ALT+HOME would take you to the browser's homepage, thereby getting away from the PDF.

CTRL+F4 would close the current tab instead of the whole browser.

F11 would return the browser to normal (non-fullscreen) mode.

btw Your question is quite confusing.
"Although if we link to a PDF-file it is also displayed in fullscreen and you have no other chance to close the screen than pressing ALT-F4."
How is that different from if you open the browser onto a webpage in fullscreen mode? What "other chance to close the screen than pressing ALT-F4." do you have when viewing a webpage that you don't when viewing a PDF file?
