xpi are zip files. unzip to look inside. next compare (e.g. with a aggreg8.xpi) what is inside and how it was done with aggreg or mtypes - when our devs included it.
then do the same.
first add items to installed-chrome.txt (then delete chrome.rtf and overlay
- can be folder or rtf - depending on k-m/GRE version).
then make macro &place between other &XUL macros.
(inside macros.cfg)
( it will be shapped like)
RSS{
$xul="chrome://aggreg8/content/aggreg8.xul"; &XUL;
}
Yours is possibly: ????
rune{
$xul="chrome://rune/content/runescape.xul"; &XUL;
}
(look inside the runscape.jar for exact spelling and so on - these macros are unforgiving about typos ( *.jar is just one more name for zip extension ; -)...
then make entry in menus.cfg - adapt someting like:
macros(mimeEdit, Edit Mime Types)
to:
macros(rune, Call RuneScape)
Give three short prayers ... start the thing. // not all work but You r maybe lucky.
btw. if runescape xpi (= zipped installer) has:
files for components/ ? naturally copy them to k-m there.components - kill the two *.dat that are inside that folder before restart.k-m remakes them with new items.
some times the xpi also have somthing to be included for other k-m folders
- it must must be copied to equivalent k-m folder place (naturally).
hope You understand my "half English-German" explanantion/gibberish.
p. s. Not all FFox extensions will work with k-m. that is what the prayers r for :-)
a good zipper program? = 7zip found at
http://www.7-zip.org/ or sourceforge.
hope this helps
