Just wanted to know if K-Meleon development is really a one man show and is this the reason why there are no frequent updates?
Thanks
Chris,
Since its inception, KM has been the product of one developer and coders who help out. KM 1.5.4 has been out for a few months now and KM 1.6/1.7 is in alpha code. FF has changed things up with the Gecko 1.9.xx engine and so there are more changes required for browsers like Galeon, Camino and K-Meleon to work.
Which version are you using?
P.S. I started with KM 0.6 <g>

This is a one man show currently. Since only one of the devs had some spare time.
Fell free to join the devs with Your spare time and competence.
greetings to Dubai
p.s. How is Your Arab translation of K-Meleon going or whatever You have to contibute?
Currently this is the only Windows browser with a viable user base that is not a commercialised project, that sold either its Search Engine position or received seeding money or...
So we all got to accept that it is done solely in the spare time of a dev or two. Else we ship in some of our own time and effort.

Updates may be infrequent but 20 versions over the past 8 years and still counting. In addition, I figure there must have been about a half dozen versions prior to 2002. I was still learning to use 5.3 when 5.4 was released and no sooner than I downloaded and began trying out 1.6a4, the development 1.7a was already in the works.
I hope nothing happens to Dorian. I would hate having to switch to any other browser. It would be like going from Bugatti Veyron back to Renault all over again.
