is there a command id for new layer or background layer? i put new layer in the file menu and it opens a new layer fine, but i wanna be able to hit ctrl L and make new layer. any help would be dope.

To 'assign' the key combination of "Ctrl + L" for a "new layer/tab" . . .

in the file accel.cfg ( located in your "C:\Program Files\K-Meleon\Profiles\default\xxxxxxxx.slt\" directory ) add the following line:

CTRL T = layers(Open)
