This came up to me when I was writting the star downloader plugin for kmeleon. Netscape plugin architecture is very limited when it comes to accessing the DOM structure or when you want to change the mime types attached dynamically. If we have a method of using mouse keys as part of acceleration keys then it would open the doors for many possibilites.
For example if I have to develop some kind of plugin for download accelerator , then I could simple write a macro or simple kmeleon plugin and attach it to CTRL+RIGHT CLICK acceleration key. This allows me to dynamicly change what file types can be downloaded or what ever it is.
