SSL or HTTPS, which is better?

I'm evaluating 2 search engines, Startingpage HTTPS and DuckDuckGo. Startingpage HTTPS uses HTTPS and DuckDuckGo uses SSL. Which is better from a security point of view, HTTPS or SSL.?

HTTPS = HTTP with SSL/TLS
