No XP support for IE9?


XP users are stuck with IE8 which is except for questionable SunSpider results the least performant current browser.

That currently cuts out more than half of MS OS clients systems. MS really wants to pressure for its new OS7 by denying hardware accelerating updates and thus next, new IE9 to XP.

So are K-Meleon users and devs hoping for a long time. See: A letter to Hotmail and recent & past Youtube posts, just to mention two pages where MS has influence and shares.

I was hoping that an ongoing development of ie would make it easier for web designers in terms of compatibility with ie. But this is just as worse as the decision to stop development on ie6 some time ago. Now ie8 will lurk around on xp just as ie6 did it for years.
