The normal preference is not to cache encrypted pages. Have you changed that under privacy & security?

I think I figured out how to remove it. To do so, do the following:

1. Extract the contents of K-Meleon's omni.ja to a directory.
2. Go to its chrome\en-US\locale\en-US\global directory.
3. Open appstrings.properties in Wordpad.
4. Delete the confirmRepostPrompt and resendButton.label strings that are in it and save it.
5. Compress the contents of the directory as a ZIP and rename to omni.ja.
6. Replace the one in K-Meleon's directory with the one you just compressed.

Are you saying that this does NOT re-send the posted data double?

I don't think so, it will just remove the warning.

That is correct, the changes I mentioned just shows the previous page without submitting it.

You read the opposite of what John meant.
He says he does NOT think that the action is NOT executed anyway, that means it is executed.

So what makes you think removing the warning would actually disable the action too??
Have you tested the real effects??

This would be the very first time that "disabling a WARNING" would at the same time "disable the warned ACTION". All other warnings, when disabled, do run the unwanted actions, just silently without telling the user first.

Also an original browser, when it asks if you really want to re-post the data, why does it only offer to either re-post or otherwise to NOT flip back at all? If you click "No", the page obviously stays where it is and does nothing.

It's probably not possible without setting the browser offline first, as suggested in the second posting. And as mentioned by guenter in your recent new thread about that subject, re-posting could be a rather dangerous thing, for example while using online-banking.
