Hey i'm not good at programming, that i'm doing some translation.
there i extract en-US.jar , then i wanna make a jar with this new language. what i should do I cant' find tutorial ;/
For K-Meleon, the default language is en-US, and is already present in chrome folder (en-US.jar).
So, I don't understand what you want to do. Do you want to translate in another language ? Which language ? Which version of K-Meleon ?

i'm translating for latest 1.5.3 to chinese interface
jar = zip.
Unzip and look inside.
Cave! Many files iside are Unicode and must stay that way.
Use an editor that shows You in status line what each file format is.
I use pspad has a website (freeware) - any editor of equal quality will do.
Do not translate style info and such into Your language.
Before You actually translate check whether a SeaMonkey 1.8 in Your target language exists. Do a file compare of extracted files with and extracted K-Meleon embed jar. Many of the different folders and files of a SeaMonkey chrome exist in K-Meleon chrome also.
K-Meleon prefs, mimetype editor and K-Meleon's Console2 version are K-Meleon specific.
All files inside SeaMonkey chrome jars (if they also exist in K-Meleon & many do not) that are translated already - will give You a translation without You doing anything.
That is why alain asks so cautiously. He wants to prevent that You fall into traps or do unneeded work.

en... i doubt there is something on seamonkey i can get.

ye,there is incomplete language package of simplified chinese, which is definetely incomplete with suspecious wrong translation,so i'm working based it, and comparsing with en-US language.

Contact kko by all means thre might be more ppl working on Chinese port.
i searched google,that someone said using Eclips to export to a jar?
i never used it
jar format is also used by Java (Sun). Eclipse started as Java development platform.
No idea whether that also helps with Mozilla Jar files now.
Mozilla has a helper system for the translations.
WHOA... just for curiosity unzipped two translation jars in the chrome folder: Each is over 190 FILES!!! *shock*
