Backing Up Password File & K-meleon

I would like to backup important information (especially login id/passwords & bookmarks, but also settings, macros, accelerators, and customization if possible) in case of I have to reinstall KM as a result of a crash or upgrade goes wrong.

I would like to be able to dump the backed up files/folder over the default ones in a new install.

1) Can I back up the K-Meleon folder in the Program Files/K-meleon (if I do this, would I be able to reinstall from scratch and then delete the K-meleon folder and replace it with the backup?) or can I back up just the sub-folder (which one would contain all the info above, especially the password file)?

2) Where are login/passwords stored, in case I just want to back up the file?

Thanks.

there are 2 profile backup extensions there:

passwords are saved in your profile directory in a file with random numbers and *.s extension
e.g 34341231.s

Thanks. It did not work perhaps because I use a portable version.

I created a new portable version as per the instructions in forum and moved my entire profile in it. It worked like a charm. All settings, passords, bookmarks... transfered over perfectly.

Now, I back up the hole thing.

Thanks for the file name. It was useful... and for trying.
