And probably is true.

The gecko version used with K-meleon renders AJAX sites quite slow. Maybe not slow but becomes busy a "good time".

Anyway, I overlooked it and I didn't read what test did he use, so, nothing new in the horizon.

most benchmarks seem to look at jscript and rendering time, but none seem to look at startup/shutdown time, or memory footprint. km blows ff away on those, in my experience. that's a big deal. ff is a hog compared to km. on shutdown, ff stays in the tasklist way longer than km, consuming a ton of ram.

You are right but you need to have in mind that we are in the way of a more interacting web, as, for example, the Cloud apps.

In other words: AJAX. Loads of JS functions, (if they aren't using Flash and/or Java, but they are the less).
