Let me start with the easy part. If you are using Notepad, then when you get to the 'save as' go to the line below 'File Name'. It is called 'Save as type.' On that line choose 'All Files.' The '.txt' on the 'File Name' line will go away. You can then type 'your macro name.kmm' and Notepad will save your macro name with the extension 'kmm.'
If you are going to be doing a lot of macro coding, might I suggest that you get Notepad ++
http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/site.htm and add to it the K-Meleon language file which desga2 designed. It will make coding very much easier.
