Yahoo Mail Won't Work With KM?

I'm running 1.5.2, don't if that is going to make a difference or not to try 1.5.1, but when my kids go to Yahoo mail, they use for their school it won't let them.

Yahoo mail gives this message:

Sorry, the all-new Yahoo! Mail does not support your browser.
You can either download a compatible browser or proceed to Yahoo! Mail Classic.

If you want to use the all-new Yahoo! Mail...
You can download any of the supported browsers for free by clicking the links below:

* Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher (for Windows)
* Firefox 2.0.0.1 or higher (for Mac and Windows)
* Safari 523.10 or higher (for Mac)
* SeaMonkey 1.0.8 or higher (for Mac and Windows)

If Firefox 2.0x works then why doesn't KM?

THANKS

cause yahoo are fucktards

in kmeleon go to tools>user-agent>firefox 2 select .. go back to yahoo.. suddenly they like you

edit: i don't use webmail or yahoo for that matter.. but i find their classic version much better than the new one.,, i think it's a botched job, if you like to see a superior webmail application; go to gmx.com and signup for an account.

A late reaction, but I just downloaded K-Meleon for test purposes. I also experiencend that the new Yahoo Mail doesn't work. Despite the answer of Guenther, (are you developer?) most people use a browser to browse the Internet. If some sites, very often frequently used sites, don't work, the browser will be deleted and changed to a "working" one. So, if you will grow in popularity, you'll have to adjust.
Succes with the development of K-Meleon!!

My screenshot = from my Yahoo account. I go there daily.

degas2 gave answer. He makes es-ES version. I am no dev.

This project can not change Yahoo policy or correct the errors in their pages
& can do absolutely nothing when their mail server is down while You try.

I am glad to read You deleted K-Meleon. There is no Dutch version anywaygrinning smiley

If IE work ever and are included in all Windows, Why are you searching/testing new browsers like K-Meleon that might not work because of the despotic policies of some companies that refuse to recognize that there are more browsers that the two most used in the market?

LOL I haven't had any problems with the Yahoot-ATT mail that my workplace is stuck with...yet...except of course that it makes me turn an odd shade of green just to have to look at it. I quite agree that Yah-ugh do be f*cktards of the highest caliber. I ditched my Hotmush acct. because they dissed my browser too many times. The classic interface of just about anything is all that's bearable these days.

What you're seeing is Y! warning you that KM doesn't work with the 'enhanced' version of Y! mail.

On the right hand side pane of the window after login just click use
'Y! mail classic' and it works fine smiling smiley

Y! 'enhanced' is only slow and cumbersome anyway lol

As a secondary note:
If you changed KM to show FF or IE browser string ID, 'Y! mail enhanced' would no doubt work so it isn't the fact that KM won't work in 'Y! mail enhanced' it's Y! wanting you to use FF or IE ...

Did you mean to say "like disrupted explained."?

(Cuz that's the only explanation I'm seeing, and I'm checking out gmx.com that disrupted suggested right now.)
