Disappearing Bookmarks Toolbar

Every time I've upgraded to a higher version of K-meleon (1.5 this time), my book marks toolbar vanishes. These bookmarks are still listed under "bookmarks" on the top toobar. How do I fix it??? Or is there a way when downloading an updated version that i can keep the toolbar folder?

What do you want to say?

Your bookmark toolbar isn't shown?

Have you look for Display>Toolbars to see if the bar is in the list?
If the toolbar isn't present in the list try in Bookmark>Options in menu and Enable the bookmark bar

If the bar is present in the list
Is-it unchecked?
If checked, have you tried to uncheck and then check it?

Curious, never heard about a similary problem.

Make sure that that K-Meleon has writing rights/privileges to Your Profiles folder / that way You can set it to Your liking (choose multi user support on install; that gives writing rights to profiles for most windows versions automatically)

p.s. Bookmarks-toolbar is set to show on startup by default (You must have switched it off / that is why my French friend alain is so astonished smiling smiley

Thanks for the replies. Here's what I did:

1) I upgraded to K-meleon 1.5 from 1.15 (which had my bookmarks below the 1st two toolbars.
2) Prior to upgrading, I had 3 toolbars
a( File, edit, view, book, marks, etc
b) Arows, stop loading, reload, home, two stars (edit bookmarks and edit favourites) print, and URL

Now I still have the first two, but the third which I lost was my Bookmarks Toolbar.
Under Bookmarks, All are on the pull down menu. How do I get it back, please?

Unlock your toolbars, and look if it's not on the right side of the window.

Fixed it. Gave up and went back and re-installed one of the older (0.9) versions, added my bookmarks to the bookmark folder and then re-installed 1.5.

Thanks for the advice and suggestions.
