J'utilise la version 1.5 béta 2 test 3 de k-meleon portable qui n'est qu'en anglais. Lorsque dans le menu je selectionne dans Help About Plugins une nouvelle instance de k-meleon s'ouvre avec le résultat (comme pour la searchbar).

En ce qui concerne la searchbar je suis allé voir dans la macro .kmm et je n'ai rien vu d'anormal

j'ai du modifier une valeur et je n'arrive pas a trouver ou

Mon paramétrage n'ouvre que des nouveaux onglets.

si vous avez une idéé ???

excusez my limited french.. i'll try to help you as much as i understood (je comprehends votre problem un pu ma non tutti)

you might have disabled tabbed browsing in settings

click on the edit menu> preferences

in preferences, go to browsing, and select tabbed browsing
make sure enable tabbed browsing is checked.

as for why about; plugins opens as a search query (if i understood correctly) then this is very strange..

if you think it's related to the searchbar, then try this
open kmeleon preferences and select k-meleon plugins from the list
look for searchbar.dll and uncheck it

restart k-meleon and see if about: plugins displays plugins correctly and tabbed browsing is restored.

i hope this helps..bon chance

better this way: to open new on about : plugins (loading this URL is also used to activate new plugins after install without restart of K-Meleon & You do not want the about : plugins window in the window where the content is going to play- since You may loose the URL).

& wait for alain (le toulosien = fr & sud ) to explain more (je suis le hanoverien = .de/allemand & middle).

BTW - Plus You can import things like chrome etc. from any 1.5 fr-FR non portable.

Merci pour votre aide j'ai rajouté le fichier AboutsTab.kmm et modifié le fichier menu.cfg et cela marche bien.

Y a t il quelquechose que je puisse faire pour la searchbar pour que cela marche aussi?

Thank'a a lot for the solution. I create the file AboutsTab.kmm, I changed the menu.cfg and that work well (I just loose the icon near About Plugins an Aout K-meleon in the help menu).

Can i do the same for the searchbar. Now, the search result is in the current tab and not on a new tab.

çà fait je ne sais combien de temps que je dis qu'il y a effectivement un problème pour searchbar avec les tabs.

Vas-tu essayer de comprendre qu'il faut avoir le temps de faire la modif, et que la solution passe peut-être par une modification de la dll.

Bref, il va falloir patienter.

Les utilisateurs de K-Meleon ont attendus plus de 5 ans pour avoir une barre, tu pourras bien attendre un p'tit mois (eh oui, bientôt, c'est à mon tour de partir en vacances).

N'étant pas un technicien, et comme tu m'avais dis qu'il y avait un problème, je suis allé voir dans searchbar.kmm ou j'ai trouvé des id_open_new_window que j'ai changé en new_tab mais comme tu n'a jamais explicitement parlé de fichier dll je ne pouvais pas le savoir.

I know it, you lost left menu icons in this options, but this is a minor loss.

About searchbar try read this thread.

But as JujuLand said this seems not works and searchbar plugin needs an update.
