I have this plugin and I need to open search from search bar in new tab ..?

Download the extension on my site (the setup)
Install it
You have then a menu under Tools > Web Search >Search Bar, where you can set your parameters (open mode, engine)

i know this may sound ridiculous, but i have no idea how to install this extension. nothing happens when i open an .nsi file with k-meleon, and i don't know if placing the .dll anywhere is what i should be doing either. i assumed this information would be in the readme, but i guess not.

oops, nevermind. i found the /plugins folder.

You can use translation web services as Google or Babelfish, both included in K-Meleon 1.5 menus; Tools -> Translation

depuis que j'ai chang� dans about:config tous les ID_OPEn_NEW_WINDOW en ID_OPEN_NEW_TAB dont kmeleon.general.searchOpen il n'y a plus d'ouverture d'une nouvelle instance de kmeleon. la recherche s'ouvre dans l'onglet courant.

Comme j'utilise aussi le bouton search du skin Klassic qui lui s'ouvre dans un nouvel onglet pour l'instant je n'ai pas trop de probl�me.

Translation:

Since I have replaced in about:config, all the ID_OPEN_NEW_WINDOW by ID_OPEN_NEW_TAB, and espacially in kmeleon.general.searchOpen, all new searches are launched in current tab.

As I use also the button search of Klassic Skin, which opens a new tab, I have not too much problem for now ...

Remark:

I think it's a little take a big hammer to crush a fly, but I haven't had time to look for kplugin source, and I think it must be updated for tab.

now I have understand, but it doesn`t work good.
It work good when I use the integrated search, but It doesn`t work with the searchbar plugin

I say that I think it's necessary to modify the kplugin for tab.

Please, be patient, it's time for holidays ...
