What _does_ that throbber image represent?

You know, the little image on the top right corner that animates when something is loading.

Is it supposed to be a Gecko's tongue undulating obscenely back and forth?

Is it some kind of tube with "information" passing through?

I have to say, sometimes when I look at it I can't help but visualize someone's lower intestine during a period of um...activity.

What does everyone else see?

Personally, I see an 'information pipeline' of sorts with data coming through. Maybe you've heard someone say "the information coming down the pipe" or something similiar. Just my 2ยข

It looks like the throbber is borrowed from Galeon, at least comparing it with Galeon's screenshots, and that the slinky pipe thing makes a lot more sense in the context of Galeon's site.

Has anyone tried replacing the Throbber.avi file with a different animation?
