I can't enter in YOUR yahoo mails box, also.

Format your hard disk and re-install whatever version of Windows you are running. It would probably be best if you didn't back up anything either, you don't want to carry over any misconfiguration.

Are You sure this current K-Meleon 1.1.3 or any other K-Meleon web browser does this? IMHO You are talking about Yahoo Mail when Yahoo is busy or buggy.

I switched over to the new yahoo page and now i can't open my messages. pls help fix this problem. Thank you

New mail requires Firefox 2.0.0.8 user agent string and/or fairly new Windows system and updated IE. K-Meleon 1.1.4 can be set to "spoof/fake" this Firefox string.

View my post here. Almost all browsers I know should be able to handle Yahoo mail - except for Yahoo's settings.

This appears to be valuable information, except it just says use this string with no instructions on how to use it, where to use it, or even what it does.

I am enjoying K-meleon, but as the documention is limited, (read non-existant for Agents) how does one go about using agents?

Once I have the instructions, I would be happy to document it for the help or documentation center.

In fact, I do a considerable amount of documentation in my job and would like to contribute to the documentation efforts of K-meleon.

User Agents can be set/changed at Preferences Privacy and after activating the Privacy Bar (via View > Toolbars) on the right hand side of that bar. You right click there for more options then point to chose at the new one with the mouse.

Forum Search or Google(try to direct it to search our Forum) will give You almost any info on K-Meleon.

More Docu would be good and much appreciate. Many here cannot not write English Docu since they are from other nations and have a problem with English as it is.

p. s. 4th post in this thread: 2.a) spoof differnt browser sting. in Preferences -> Privacy -> User Defined.

K-Meleon's auto spell checker extension did not exist in January 2007

And since someone found that Yahoo updates the string that they want, our devs often update the User Agent strings that K-Meleon has by default So You do not have to copy paste to update that yourself anymore.

So if I choose a different agent (firefox, IE, etc.), my Yahoo beta mail box should just work? I don't have to copy and paste any string to a configuration file?
