Is there a hot key to hide active kmeleon window immediately as boss key?

I don't think I understand your question. Would you mind restating it in a different way or giving an example of where you've seen the behavior before?

There might be a minimize app command

AFAIK, there is not a way to minimize the window... although I think that would be a nifty thing to add. I would imagine that it wouldn't be TOO difficult, but I am not a programmer.

By the way that id(ID_ was a hard earned little gem.

One little problem, Hao's & Dorian's & Fred's latest builds, based on Dorian's fabulous work, don't use k-meleon's history manager. The privacy plugin won't erase the history.dat file.

Since k-m is accessing the history.dat file it can't be deleted because it's in use.
There is no current way to clear history in these builds unless k-m is exited and another program deletes history.dat.

I know this is evident, but, have you tried simply to press ALT + F4 at any time?

and Strg + ALT + F4 if more than one window is open.

I believe it's not the same to CLOSE or to HIDE (minimize) KM...

If your keyboard is one that has the WINKEYs on it, the WINKEY + M will minimize the window to the task bar. Actually all open windows will be sent to the task bar.
