I noticed that when using g00gle as search-engine it is prefetching sites (at the moment only the one at the top) in the background, while presenting the results.
I did find this out cause my firewall asked me if I want to allow java-script for these sites and wondered whats going on...
If you see this as a nice feature, close this thread an go on.
If you are on a 56k-connection or you don't like this behavior (like me) there are 2 possibilities for you:
1. Type about:config in your url-bar and search for the line:
'network.prefetch-next'
and change its value to false.
or
2. goto -> edit -> preferences -> configs -> user.js
and add
user_pref("network.prefetch-next", false);
