Hi,

when I close KM 0.9 Beta after a online-session and restart it, KM is always in the offline-mode. What is wrong ? Hope I didn't oversee a setting which causes this.

What's preferences - cache - cache comparison set to? Did you do a clean install (empty directory)?

did You try setting it to online! - may-be do!

let us hope You do not have any of the many broken installs
that i remember from early 0.8.2!

Thanks for help. You were right: I uninstalled an older version and reinstalled KM 0.9 Beta. Don't have any problems now.

offtopic:a simple advice to work with KM under an account with restricted rights:

Several months ago I asked here in the forum how to install KM so it works with the second user/account under restricted rights. Perhaps somebody will remember.:

When you install KM in the normal Path (C:\Programme....) you cant't work with this with a second user and restricted rights. So you have to uninstall KM from C:\Programs....) and to reinstall KM first time for "all user" under adminstrator rights and a second time especially for the user with restricted rights.

It's easier and KM 0.9 Beta works fine when you install it only one time under the user/account with restricted rights. From there it is no problem to work with KM under administrator rights.

I know my advice is not "a genious highligh" but perhaps it's a little help for those who are not professional computer freaks.

Up to now there are no problems with KM 0.9. I like this browser more and more.
I am very happy about the plus of speed and things like the toolbar.
