installation problem

When I attmpt to open the browser after newly installing it I receive the following message: The K-Meleon.EXE file is linked to a missing export MFC42DLL:6491. Can anyone tell me how to remedy this. Thanks

i guess it couldn't hurt to mention that installing the foundation class libraries can be a little tricky - you can't usually just drop 'em on top of the old one - but you probably knew that. here are a couple more threads on the subject:
